ECDL or European Computer Driving Licence
has been developed as a European wide industry-standard qualification in
Information and Communication Technology skills. It is administered in the
UK by the British Computer Society and supported by the European
Commission. It is designed to be relevant to anyone who uses, or would
like to be able to use, a computer. No knowledge of computers is
required.
The course is centred on a
European Computer Log Book which records progress as each successive stage is
achieved. There are seven stages or Modules each covering a different area of
skill. Click on the links to the right for information on each individual
module.
